In anticipation of the release of their second album, “Careful What You Wish For,” Threatpoint has released a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the record over the last year.

Dubbed “Electric City groove metal,” the hardworking Scranton band has organized one of their biggest shows yet at the New Bar on Oak (900 Oak St., Pittston) to celebrate the album’s release on Friday, Oct. 3. Opening that night will be Cause of Affliction, Beyond Fallen, Psychoprism, and New York City’s IKILLYA, with raffles and giveaways to further entice attendees and reward longtime fans. The band released a promo video last week with further details.

NEPA Scene will be one of many sponsors supporting the concert, so check back tomorrow for an exclusive interview with Threatpoint.
