Local immigrants from Guardia dei Lombardi, Italy featured in photography exhibit

The Scranton Chapter of UNICO National, in conjunction with the Pro Loco “I Longobardi” of Guardia dei Lombardi, Italy, is hosting a photography exhibit featuring immigrants from Guardia dei Lombardi residing in Lackawanna County.

The event, which takes place at the Seeley Memorial Library (406 N. Washington Ave., Scranton) at Lackawanna College from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. as a part of Scranton’s First Friday art walk activities on Dec. 5, will include a formal sister city declaration between Scranton and Guardia dei Lombardi by Mayor William Courtright.
