Living in Pennsylvania, we tend to take birch beer and whoopie pies for granted, but if we weren’t raised on such things, what would we think of them if we discovered them as adults for the first time?

That’s the premise of this funny video from Movoto, a real estate company from California that gathered eight West Coast residents together to try various foods and drinks from the Keystone State. Yuengling Lager seems to go over well. Ham pot pie? Not so much.

While we were surprised by the lack of pierogies, Middleswarth potato chips, and shoo-fly pie, the reactions of these outgoing test subjects definitely made up for it. Now we want to see Pennsylvanians take on some West Coast cuisine.
