Whether you’ve seen their bright green and red trucks driving through your neighborhood or watched them compete on “Live! with Kelly and Michael,” many hungry people in Northeastern Pennsylvania are familiar with What the Fork trucks and their unique food, including their signature pulled pork tacos with candy sauce.

Those who aren’t can try this dish and more for free on Saturday, Jan. 3 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Toyota of Scranton (3400 N. Main St., Scranton), though considering the food trucks’ popularity, many will likely be returning customers. What the Fork’s largest truck, the Beast, will be giving away free lunch or dinner to those who stop in the showroom that day and “like” Toyota of Scranton on Facebook. The event is a “thank you” from the local Toyota dealer to the community; they are also offering $500 off any new vehicle for any Facebook fan that comes in on Saturday.

For more information, visit the event page on Facebook.

In addition to their vehicles that park throughout the area, What the Fork recently announced that they will open a brick-and-mortar location at 41 South Main Street in Wilkes-Barre, though no date has been set yet.
