Scranton photographer Jason Riedmiller teamed up with Michelle Beck of Allegro Photo and Design to cover the people and artistry of the sixth annual Electric City Tattoo Convention at the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center on April 17-19, and what they came back with was art in its own right.

Riedmiller, who was featured on Episode 17 of the NEPA Scene Podcast, took portraits in a separate room at the convention while Beck captured candid moments throughout the hotel, from tattoo work in progress at various booths to haircuts by Loyalty Barber Shop & Shave Parlor to a burlesque show by the Whiskey Kitten Cabaret. This collection is just a sampling of the photos they took over the course of those three days.
