SHELTER SUNDAY: Meet Jonah (Treeing Walker Coonhound) and Stealth and Ricochet (tabby kittens)
Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features one dog, one cat, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.
Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food, and most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

A gentleman and a scholar, Jonah gave up his bed for his foster brother, Giz!
Jonah is approximately 6 years old. His foster mom says he is great with all of her dogs, which are all sizes. He loves to go for walks and is a laidback, easygoing, loving dog. Jonah is just an all-around gentleman who had a really bad start in life. He is so grateful to be in a house now because he was an outside dog.
Stealth and Ricochet are 7-week-old brothers.
The light gray kitten is named Stealth because he likes to sneak attack, and the other is named Ricochet because he never sits still. Both are full of personality!
