SHELTER SUNDAY: Meet Hund (pit bull terrier) and Roger (tabby kitten)
Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features one dog, one cat, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.
Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food, and most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Hund is a boy who is looking for his special family. He has so much love and energy inside of him that sometimes it is hard for him to control. He is a great boy who deserves someone who can give him the love and training he needs.

Peek-a-boo! Roger needs you! Roger is a semi-longhair kitten who will soon be available for adoption.
Roger is outgoing and friendly. After a long day of playing, nothing helps Roger unwind like curling up on his foster parents’ lap to watch a movie. His foster mom says he is one of the most affectionate cats she’s ever met. He is a very brave little guy and enjoys meeting new people. He can’t wait to meet you!
