Known locally for bands like And The Moneynotes, The Minor White, and most recently Heavy Blonde, Scranton musician Roy Williams has been living in New York City playing in various groups and just released his solo album of original compositions, “Throwing Punches,” in February.

Another project of his, Roy Williams and the Human Hands, also put out three music videos for “Sleepy Mike,” “Bug,” and “Good Monster” over the last few weeks featuring Williams on lead guitar, Alex Hargreaves on fiddle, Nick Driscoll on clarinet and soprano sax, Nick Anderson on drums, Dave Speranza on bass, and John Shannon and Rob Cuellari on guitar.

The session videos were filmed by Lindsay Barrasse and David Corigliano of Voyager Video at the Windmill Agency Recording Studio in Lake Ariel, where the songs were mixed, mastered, and produced by owner Eric Ritter.

“Sleepy Mike” (embedded above) is from a new record set to be released this fall, along with “Good Monster,” while “Bug” is from “Throwing Punches.”
