From a press release:

Three MTV personalities will be coming to downtown Scranton on Thursday, Nov. 12 to headline a night of comedy at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel. “Girl Code” star Esther Ku and “Wild ‘N Out” stars Rip Michaels and Jacob Williams will be performing live stand-up comedy at the MTV Comedy Jam & Afterparty, which is produced by Laugh Out Lepka’s Comedy and sponsored by The Vape Place.

Doors at the Radisson (700 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton) open at 8 p.m., and the show will start at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission or $200 for a VIP package, which includes four VIP seats, four drinks, and a meet and greet with the headliners.

Esther Ku was selected as a finalist in NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” Season 6. She was also selected by Howard Stern as a finalist in the Hottest Funniest Chick Contest on Sirius Satellite Radio. She has performed in the hit comedy “Shear Madness,” the longest-running non-musical play in American theatre history.

As the winner of the 2013 Bay Area Black Comedy Competition and one of the NYC Kings of Comedy Superstar, Rip Michaels is one of comedy’s most influential people on the stage. His sense of humor with relationships, world issues, and life has earned him appearances on shows such as “According to Him + Her,” “Comic View,” “Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza,” “Wannabes,” “Bad Boys of Comedy,” and MTV2’s “Wild ‘N Out.”

Jacob Williams made his national television debut as a stand-up comedian on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and advanced to the semi-finals. He has been a cast member on MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out” since 2013. Williams also performed stand-up for a “Wild ‘N Out” comedy special and provides the voice of a lead character in the animated mini-series “Football U.”

Also performing on Nov. 12 will be local comedians Half & Half, Shawn Harvey, Michael Bianco, Ryan Burdick, John Walton, and Kenan Jerome Floyd, with music spinning all night long by DJ Hotsause.

Tickets are available at mtvjam.eventbrite.com or can be purchased at The Vape Place (276 Railroad Ave., Scranton), King of Kings Gyros (37 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre), or by calling 570-357-2693.
