Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food, and most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Guinness

Tell me how handsome I am – I’m all ears!! Get it? All ears?!

I’m Guinness – yes, like the beverage! I’m only 8 months old, and I’m Chihuahua/dachshund mix.

I love every creature I meet – kids, dogs, or whatever! What I would really love is to have a home by Christmas. Imagine gathering for a big dinner, then sitting down with Guinness! Not the drink, of course – me!

So if you would love a little guy like me, fill out an application and come visit!

Harry

Meet Harry! He is 1 year old and is such a sweet, sweet boy!

He loves to give and receive affection. He’s also a polydactyl, which means he has six toes on each front paw.

If you’re interested in giving this handsome boy a furever home, please contact us!
