When director J. J. Abrams said there wouldn’t be any more trailers for “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” after the “final” trailer came out on Oct. 19, he must have meant, like Obi-Wan Kenobi once noted, “from a certain point of view.”

Disney released the Japanese trailer this morning that contains several clips never seen before, including more BB-8 and Kylo Ren holding his lightsaber up to Rey’s neck. There’s still no Luke Skywalker, but there are plenty of other things in there to get excited about.

“The Force Awakens” stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, joining the original cast of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, and Kenny Baker. It will be released in theaters on Friday, Dec. 18; tickets are on sale now.
