VIDEO: The Push is back to celebrate a funny and ‘Wonderful Christmastime’

After releasing a quick teaser on Dec. 15, satirical Scranton duo The Push presented the latest installment in their beloved Holiday Series on YouTube just in time for Christmas Eve.

After being zapped by the Millennium Falcon into festive suits, the pair run around New York City spreading holiday cheer as they sing “Wonderful Christmastime,” a single released in 1979 by Paul McCartney.

Jimmy Reynolds and Tim McDermott’s tongue-in-cheek tradition began in 2008 and ran for four years in a row. On the fifth year, they released their debut album of of ’70s and ’80s-style throwback tracks, “Greatest Hits Volume One,” along with a video for their original song, “Dance Pants,” before taking a break. “Wonderful Christmastime” is an unexpected and fun return to form.
