From a press release:

The F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre has announced that the W. Curtis Montz Film Series will present a “Star Wars” Film Festival on Saturday, Sept. 3.

It is a period of “Stars Wars” excitement! After enjoying “Episode VII: The Force Awakens,” fans can now look forward to a full day devoted to intergalactic adventure in a galaxy far, far away. Strong with the Force, the Kirby Center staff raced to pick a date to bring Episodes IV, V, and VI to the big screen and downtown Wilkes-Barre.

On Sept. 3, they will screen the updated home video versions of “A New Hope,” “The Empire Strikes Back,” and “Return of the Jedi.”

The W. Curtis Montz Film Series offers critically-acclaimed features on the area’s largest screen for the area’s lowest ticket price. All screenings cost only $5, and students with a valid I.D. always pay just $3. Purchase all three movies for $12 at the Kirby Center box office (71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre) only.

Ticket are on sale now and available through the box office, online at kirbycenter.org, and by phone at 570-826-1100.
