Beer: Double Dry Hopped Scaled IPA

Brewery: Trillium Brewing Company

Style: IPA

Age: 2016

ABV: 7.00%

This week, we have a beer from one of the Northeast’s new school darlings, Trillium Brewing!

The New England hazy IPA has been the beer du jour for more than a hot minute, but the dry hopping is a close second as far as crazes go in recent hop-dom.

So, let’s see what happens when you take a 7 percent base IPA and throw a ton of El Dorado and Citra in the mix with Trillium’s Double Dry Hopped Scaled!

Massive Beer Reviews is an award-winning YouTube beer review, brewery, and culture show based out of Northeastern Pennsylvania. With almost 20 years in the craft beer game, we aim to cover all styles, but pull no punches when it comes to our opinions on the beers we cover.

Beer is inherently a subjective subject, so while we make enjoy something more than you or vice versa, we can – many more times than not – tell the difference and differentiate between a beer we don’t like and a beer that is made badly, which is typically illustrated in the reviews.

While we take our show, comments, and approach seriously, we also know a stick-up-the-butt viewpoint on the lovely art that is beer is not what we want to portray, nor something we would want to watch ourselves, so keep on the lookout for blue language, random silliness, maybe a little bit of drunkenness, and some headstrong opinions.

We encourage watchers’ input and love a good debate, so if you see or hear something you love, hate, or anything in-between, feel free to reach out to us in the comments section, through e-mail, or on any of the various social media platforms listed below!
