When NEPA Scene last talked to Bobby Barnett, the vocalist/guitarist of Scranton/Philadelphia punk band Captain, We’re Sinking, back in December, he told us how excited he was to embark on his first-ever acoustic tour in the United Kingdom with his brother Greg Barnett, vocalist/guitarist of The Menzingers, in early 2016.

Now his fans back in the States have the chance to hear at least one of those shows thanks to a live recording from Jan. 17 at The Star & Garter in Manchester by his friend Francis Hunt, which was later mixed by The Menzingers’ Tom May and released on Monday, March 28.

Stream “Live From The Star & Garter” below and purchase it for only $5 via Bandcamp, where his previous solo albums are available as well:

The download includes “a poorly made music video and a wacky bonus song” called “Food,” Barnett wrote on the Captain, We’re Sinking Facebook page.

Listen to Barnett talk about the acoustic tour; his music; Captain, We’re Sinking’s next album; his family, the Scranton music scene; working as a substitute teacher; and more in Episode 42 of the NEPA Scene Podcast:
