The official lineup for the 2016 NEPA Metal Meltdown festival has been announced, gathering local and underground heavy metal bands for two nights of brutality in Pittston on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16.

Held once again at Diane’s Deli & Internet Cafe (206 S. Main St., Pittston), the festival was founded by Beyond Fallen vocalist Joe Karavis and guitarist Steve Jasuilewicz as an event by metal bands for metal bands and their fans. It’s now in its third year, and NEPA Scene will serve as the media sponsor for the second year.

“This year, we have some killer new bands confirmed for the fest that are sure to impress the metal faithful, and also a few returning bands from 2014 and 2015 that are back again by popular demand,” Karavis said.

“2016’s edition will be bigger, better, and louder – a killer, diverse lineup of bands and a great heavy metal atmosphere that no metal fan is going to want to miss.”
