PHOTOS: Electric City Tattoo Convention portraits and fresh ink, 04/15-17/16 (some images NSFW)
The seventh annual Electric City Tattoo Convention, held once again at the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center in downtown Scranton, attracted colorful characters – both inside and out – from Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17, and NEPA Scene photographers Jason Riedmiller and Michelle Beck returned this year to shoot portraits in a private room and candid images out on the main floor.
From haircuts by Loyalty Barber Shop & Shave Parlor to sword swallowing by Amanda April June, they captured it all in photos as artistic as the tattooers themselves. They also photographed the beautiful ladies in the pinup contest and the winners of the tattoo contest, which included Best Traditionally Influenced Tattoo, Best Asian Art Influenced Tattoo, Best Realism in a Tattoo, Best Back Piece Tattoo, Tattoo of the Day, Best Worst Tattoo, and Best of Show.
