Pocono Comic Expo bringing pop culture to Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort on April 23

The Pocono Comic Expo, the only pop culture experience in the Pocono Mountains, is scheduled for Saturday, April 23 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort (100 Shawnee Inn Dr., Shawnee on Delaware).
Dedicated to creating awareness and appreciation for all things comic books and pop culture, the Pocono Comic Expo is a family-friendly event with a variety of vendors and guests that includes artists Mark McKenna, Eli Romas, Craig Blake (a.k.a. Old School), and Sal Otero; comic writer Mark Poulton; voice actor Erica Schroeder; film director David Lee Madison; actors Jim Krut and Carolyn Seibert; cosplayers General T. Osnofla (Alfonso Todd), Katie Coe, the Philly Avengers, Heroes Alliance, Ashen Phoenix, and Imperial Klingon Forces; wrestlers Brian Myers (a.k.a Curt Hawkins), Justin Glory, Back Breakers Training Center, and Grand Slam Wrestling.
Panels, presentations, and activities are planned, along with an after-party at 10 p.m.
Pre-sale tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at poconocomicexpo.com. Kids under 12 are granted free admission when accompanied by an adult.
