From a press release:

Young hearts will be free for one night only – Rod Stewart will bring “The Hits 2016 Tour” to Bethlehem when he performs at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center on Friday, Aug. 26 for one of only three performances in the United States this summer.

The two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award winner’s electrifying live show features a monumental set list of his biggest hits from 1970-2016. The Event Center doors will open at 7 p.m. for an 8 p.m. show time.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 6 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at sandseventcenter.com, the Event Center box office (77 Sands Blvd., Bethlehem), ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone at 800-745-3000.

With no shortage of chart-topping songs and a singular love for live performances, Stewart’s concerts captivate fans with show-stopping production and hits spanning five decades, including “You Wear It Well,” “Maggie May,” “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy,” “The First Cut Is the Deepest,” “Tonight’s the Night,” “Hot Legs,” “Infatuation,” “Downtown Train,” and more.

Stewart commented, “I give you fair warning – fasten your seat belts. I’m pulling out all the stops!”

Following the release of his 29th critically-acclaimed album, “Another Country,” and with demand for his live concerts continuing to skyrocket worldwide, Stewart mounted a year of live performances that would sideline artists half his age. In 2016, Stewart kicked-off the fifth year of his Las Vegas residency with a sold-out run of concerts in March and April at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. On May 14-July 9, his “The Hits 2016 Tour” will rock 24 stadiums throughout Europe, and on Aug. 3-21, he returns stateside to resume his Las Vegas residency and will touch down on the East Coast for three concerts Aug. 26-Sept. 3 while en route back to Europe to close out the year with his 17-date arena tour “From Gasoline Alley to Another Country: Hits 2016.”

Stewart is one of the best-selling artists in the history of recorded music, with over 200 million records sold worldwide. His signature voice, style, and passionate live performances have transcended all genres of popular music, from rock and roll, new wave, and even tackling the Great American Songbook, making him one of the few stars to enjoy continued success over five decades. He has garnered two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and won countless awards, including a Grammy and the ASCAP Founders Award for songwriting.
