Dive under the sea with Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” – the fun-filled, timeless tale continues performances at Theatre at the Grove in Nuangola June 25-July 10.

This classic love story is Disney storytelling at its best. Unsatisfied with her life at sea, free-spirited young mermaid princess Ariel longs to experience the human world above. With Flounder and Sebastian at her side, she embarks on the adventure of a lifetime.

Based on Disney’s animated film and hit Broadway musical, “The Little Mermaid” features several classic songs, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl,” and “Part of Your World,” as well as new songs written by Oscar-winning Disney composer Alan Menken, the mastermind behind “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin,” and “Pocahontas.” Lyrics are by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, with a book by Doug Wright.

The production takes place at the historic theater (5177 Nuangola Rd., Nuangola). It is directed by Theatre at the Grove Artistic Director Michael Marone, with choreography by Amber McKenna and musical direction by Christopher LaFrance. The cast of more than 30 performers stars Isabella Snyder/Liz Hines as Ariel, Tyler Saar as Prince Eric, Darrin Cementina as Sebastian, Alice Y. Lyons/Joanna Bryn Smith as Ursula, Chris Laundry as King Triton, Liam Huff/Madison Chacko/Sarah Pugliese as Flounder, Tyler Ocasio as Flotsam, Jonathan Muniz as Jetsam, Kelly Kreiger as Scuttle, and Dan Nudo as Grimsby.
