SHELTER SUNDAY: Meet Franny (pit bull mix) and Sully (orange tabby kitten)
Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.
Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Franny is a young pit bull mix who was scheduled to be euthanized (while she was still pregnant!) in Texas. Blue Chip heard this and stepped in to pay for her transport to Pennsylvania. She is now safe and sound with 10 healthy babies.
She was a very good mom, but now that her pups are moving into new homes, it is her time to find a good home, too.
Franny is very social, loving, gets along with other dogs, and loves people. She is up-to-date on her shots and will be spayed.
Sully is 12 weeks old and up-to-date on his shots. He is a handsome little guy who is very sweet and lovable.
