Big hits from Mississippi rock band 3 Doors Down are always in rotation on most local radio stations on any given day, but there’s noting quite like the live experience, as the band proved at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday, Sept. 7 with supporting acts Pop Evil and Red Sun Rising.

Opening with “Still Alive” from their new album, “Us and the Night,” the quintet flew through 14 songs like Superman, leaving on “Kryptonite” and coming back for a three-song encore that appropriately closed with “When I’m Gone.”

Before heading to their next gig in Baltimore, 3 Doors Down showed their support for the K-9 Unit of the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, as the Kirby Center noted on Facebook:
