Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Curry

Curry did not want to have his picture taken. But with much persistence (and some yummy treats), we finally got a few nice pictures of this handsome English bulldog!

Curry is 6 years old, neutered, and up-to-date on his shots. He is very intelligent, and when he needs use the bathroom, he rings a bell. He walks well on a leash, too!

He is very friendly with adults, but he does not do well with kids and is dog selective.

Milo and Jax

This is Milo and Jax! These sweet handsome brothers are only 10 weeks old and playful, lovable, and affectionate.

If you would like to adopt Milo or Jax, perhaps you should double the fun with both of them!

Please note that all kittens are kept in foster homes, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
