Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Hund

Hund is a boy who is looking for his special family. He has so much love and energy inside of him that sometimes it is hard for him to control it. He is a great boy who deserves someone who can give him the love and training he needs.

If you feel you have the time to give Hund, to show him what it is like to be part of a family, please consider adding him to yours. He is a good boy who has come a long way and needs someone to help him along the way.

He needs a home where he is the only pet and there are no children. He is up-to-date on his shots and neutered.

Chloe

Chloe is 10 weeks old and up-to-date on her shots and feline testing.

This kitten is cute, full of personality, and waiting for her furever home!

If you would like to adopt Chloe, please note that all kittens are kept in foster homes, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
