From a press release:

Northeastern Pennsylvania alternative rock singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Aaron Fink has announced that his third solo album, “Galaxies,” will be released on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, and to celebrate, he’ll be joined by his band The Fury for a record release party at the River Street Jazz Cafe in Plains on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Doors at the Jazz Cafe (667 N. River St., Plains) open at 8 p.m., and the 21+ show begins at 10 p.m. Tickets, which are $7, can be purchased in advance via HoldMyTicket or at the door.

After making a name for himself as a member of multi-platinum-selling rock band Breaking Benjamin, as well as playing in Lifer, The Badlees, Stardog Champion, and Gentleman East, celebrated touring and studio guitarist Aaron Fink stepped out on his own as a singer/songwriter, co-producer, and multi-instrumentalist on his first solo effort, “Saint Sylvania,” in 2015. He soon followed that up with “Heavy Feathers” in 2016 and continues his prolific solo career with “Galaxies” in early 2017, recorded at SI Studios in Old Forge.

The forthcoming album features guest spots by Patrick Flynn and Mark Kiesinger of Underground Saints, Paul Smith and Ron Simasek of The Badlees, Zhach Kelsch of Dive, John Novak of Down to Six, and Tyler Dempsey of the Marko Marcinko Trio.

Aaron Fink & The Fury will also be performing at “The Holiday Reunion Concert” at the F.M. Kirby Center (71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre) this Friday, Dec. 30 at 7 p.m., featuring the reunions of Underground Saints and The Five Percent, along with Bret Alexander, Death Valley Dreams, and the Tony Halchak Band.
