From a press release:

The F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre has announced its first major fundraising event, “F.M. Kirby Fest – A Night of Pints, Pinot & Performing Arts” on Saturday, April 22 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

This all-inclusive fundraising event, aimed at showcasing local wineries, breweries, restaurants, and artists, will be held throughout the theater and will feature wine and beer tastings, food sampling, and local entertainment.

All proceeds benefit the F.M. Kirby Center’s Community Outreach and children and family programming, which provide local children a chance to experience the performing arts free of charge.

Tickets, which are $45 for members in advance, $50 in advance for non-members, or $60 the day of the event, are on sale now and available through the Kirby Center box office (71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre) and by phone at 570-826-1100.

Some of the confirmed wineries and breweries include Bartolai Winery, Freas Farm Winery, Maiolatesi Wine Cellars, Nawrocki Imports, Nimble Hill Vineyard & Winery and Nimble Hill Brewing Company, Benny Brewing Company, North Slope Brewing Company, and Susquehanna Brewing Company.
