Paramore is celebrating the release of their acclaimed fifth studio album on Fueled By Ramen with a wide-ranging storm of international activity. The multi-platinum band’s first new album in more than four years, “After Laughter,” is available now at all retailers and streaming services and includes two recently released songs, “Hard Times” and “Told You So.”

The official “Hard Times” companion video is fast proving a sensation, earning more than 25 million individual views at YouTube alone in its first month of release. In addition, the colorful “Told You So” companion video – directed by Aaron Joseph and Paramore’s own Zac Farro – has drawn over seven million views in just two weeks via Fueled By Ramen’s official YouTube channel.

“After Laughter” was recorded at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, Paramore’s first time recording in their beloved hometown. Produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen and Paramore’s own Taylor York, the album also marks the return of original Paramore member Zac Farro. The announcement of “After Laughter was followed by a wide range of media coverage, with highlights including a New York Times feature as well as an extensive two-part interview with Beats 1’s Zane Lowe.

The album has already begun earning rapturous critical attention, with Billboard declaring “Hard Times” to be “an addictive, Talking Heads-inspired jam that sounds like it could follow ‘Ain’t It Fun’ as a Hot 100 smash,” and Rolling Stone praising “Told You So” as “polyrhythmic funk-pop.” Perhaps Variety said it best: “Paramore has never sounded — or looked — more defiantly joyous… ‘After Laughter’ sounds like it’s about when life kicks you in the gonads. Instead of crying about it, hopefully Paramore will come back fighting and chop life’s head clean off.”

“After Laughter” will be celebrated with a series of high-profile TV appearances, beginning this Wednesday, May 17 with an outdoor mini-concert on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Next, Paramore will perform “Told You So” on CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” set for Wednesday, May 24, followed on Friday, Aug. 25 by a special performance on ABC’s “Good Morning America” as part of its star-studded 2017 GMA Summer Concert Series.

Paramore, who kicked off their upcoming world tour last week with an intimate hometown gig at Nashville’s Exit/In, has just unveiled a long-anticipated series of North American dates produced by Live Nation. Dubbed “Tour Two,” the trek gets underway Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Jacksonville, Florida’s Moran Theater and continues through mid-October. Highlights include shows at some of the world’s most renowned venues, including Los Angeles, California’s Greek Theater (Tuesday, Sept. 26); Atlanta, Georgia’s Fox Theater (Monday, Oct. 2); New York City’s Radio City Music Hall (Wednesday, Oct. 4); Toronto, Ontario’s Massey Hall (Friday, Oct. 13); and Nashville, Tennessee’s famed Ryman Auditorium (Tuesday, Oct. 17).

Paramore has set an additional number of special live dates, including an appearance at KROQ Weenie Roast (Saturday, May 20), Pennsylvania’s Karoondinha Music & Arts Festival (Friday, July 21), and Riot Fest Chicago (Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16-17). A European headline tour – a.k.a. “Tour One” – kicks off June 15 with a sold-out show at Dublin, Ireland’s Olympia Theatre and then makes stops in the U.K., Germany, The Netherlands, France, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway.

The band has also just announced plans for the third installment of their hugely popular Parahoy! vacation experience, an interactive four-day festival at sea presented in partnership with Sixthman Productions and Norwegian Cruise Lines. The cruise – a full charter aboard the spectacular Norwegian Jade – will feature a specially selected schedule of bands, activities, and truly unique Paramore live performances. Parahoy! sails roundtrip from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas from April 6-10, 2018.
