From a press release:

It has been announced that international bagpiping sensation Red Hot Chilli Pipers will return to the Hershey Theatre on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for this show, which are $34.50, $39.50, $49.50, $54.50, and $59.50 (processing fees apply), go on sale this Friday, July 14 at noon and will be available at the Hershey Theatre box office (15 E. Caracas Ave., Hershey), online at hersheyentertainment.com and ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 717-534-3405 and 800-745-3000.

Since they walked away with the top prize on U.K. primetime TV talent show “When Will I Be Famous?” in 2007, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers haven’t stopped for a breath, other than to inflate their bagpipes.

This nine-piece ensemble consisting of pipers, guitarists, keyboards, and drummers has four music degrees from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and all the pipers and drummers have played at the top level in bagpiping.

Voted Scotland’s Live Act of the Year in 2007 and 2010 at the Scots Trad Music Awards, the Chillis have never been more in demand for their infectious style of feel-good music, which appeals right across the age range to people all over the world. They are the very best musicians from Scotland and across the globe – many holding World Champion titles and all serious players with impressive credentials and qualifications.

Their sound is a fusion of traditional pipe tunes and contemporary anthems – tracks from across their eight albums include the likes of “Clocks” by Coldplay, “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol, “Let Me Entertain You” by Robbie Williams, Queen’s “We Will Rock You,” and a rock medley of Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water” and AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.” Plus, “Flower of Scotland,” “Amazing Grace,” and “The Hills of Argyll” get a look in too in the Chillis’ distinctive style.

There has never been anything quite like the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

The wristband policy will be in effect for this concert. Fans are permitted on the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex property beginning at 7 a.m. on July 14. Two hours prior to the on-sale, fans will be directed in front of Hershey Theatre box office, where they will be issued a numbered wristband. Wristbands are available for one hour, and at the conclusion of that hour, a selected fan will randomly choose a wristband that will determine the line order. Once the line is in place, fans arriving after the wristbands were issued will be escorted to the end of the numbered line.
