Scranton Comic Book Convention returns to Radisson in Scranton on Nov. 19

The Scranton Comic Book Convention will return to the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel for its fall edition on Sunday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., bringing writers, artists, cosplayers, dealers, and some colorful characters to downtown Scranton.

Guests will include Darren Auck (veteran illustrator for Marvel Comics, including “Hulk vs. Thing,” “Ren & Stimpy,” “Rocko’s Modern Life,” and “What If…,” and art instructor at the Kubert School of Art), Chris Ring (writer/artist of “Carbon Knight,” “The Perfect Victim,” “Nevermore,” and “The Scariest Creature”), Jason Lenox (writer/artist at Ugli Studios), Jody Fallon (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pencil and wood sculpture artist), Cheryl Fallon (conceptual fine art and contemporary portrait photographer), Rob Robbins (freelance comic artist for Dynamite Entertainment and Kubert School graduate), Rin Venieris (freelance illustrator), Joe Holley (freelance illustrator), Andrea Mullen, and Dave Reynolds.

Admission to the convention (700 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton) is only $5, and children under 5 are free.

Hourly door prizes will be given away, with a grand prize drawn at 4 p.m.
