Not long after the Peach Music Festival announced that it would return, the electronic dance music festival Camp Bisco, founded by Philadelphia electronica/jam fusion band The Disco Biscuits, will also return to The Pavilion at Montage Mountain and Montage Mountain Waterpark in Scranton on Thursday, July 12 through Sunday, July 15.

An alumni pre-sale begins this Thursday, Dec. 21 at noon at campbisco.com.

The official 2017 aftermovie was also released yesterday:

This will be the festival’s fourth year at Montage Mountain, expanding from three nights last year to four wild nights of EDM music, laser light shows, art, camping, and nonstop partying. The 2018 lineup is still TBA.

Along with six full sets from the Biscuits, the 2017 festival featured headlining performances by Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, GRiZ, Lotus, Gramatik, Action Bronson, and Shpongle (Simon Posford).

We also discussed the ongoing controversies and local media portrayal of Camp Bisco and read and reacted to comments regarding the festival that we received from readers at the end of Episode 18 of the NEPA Scene Podcast with jam band-inspired artist and illustrator Patrick Kwiatkowski.
