From a press release:

The F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre will be holding their second annual F.M. Kirby Fest: A Night of Pints, Pinot & Performing Arts on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

In 2017, more than 20 various wineries, breweries, and restaurants handed out samples throughout the evening while attendees perused the theater full of musical entertainment and artwork from local artists on hand. 2018’s event is in line to be ever bigger, with additional establishments joining in to greet those walking through the Kirby Center with a treat or spirit from their business.

Tickets are on sale now for $30 and available through the Kirby Center box office (71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre), online at kirbycenter.org, and by phone at 570-826-1100. Kirby Members can purchase tickets prior to the event for $25 through the box office only. Tickets will be on sale the day of the event for $35.

The planning committee will be announcing the list of wineries, breweries, and restaurants, along with the local entertainment lineup for the evening in the upcoming weeks. Committee members are: Jamie Anzalone, Attorney at Anzalone Law Offices; Katie Beekman, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Services at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders; Andrea Caladie, Partner at Baker Tilly LLP; Jennifer Ciarimboli; Tish Last; Lawrence Medico Jr., Marketing Director at Medico Industries; Melissa Parente; Jennifer Sordoni, Advancement Committee Chair at the F.M. Kirby Center; Katie Williams; and Richard Williams, Registered Architect.

All proceeds benefit the F.M. Kirby Center’s community outreach and children’s programming, which provide local children a chance to experience the performing arts free of charge. This event can help the theater continue to support the community and its children.
