Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Winter

Winter is an 8-year-old American bulldog/boxer mix, so she’s basically just a bundle of pure love. She lost her home and needs a new family to love forever.

Winter loves other dogs and every single person she meets. She enjoys going for walks and being around people, so let’s find her a good home for the holidays.

Come out and meet this sweet, lovable girl!

Holly

Holly is a 6-month-old tabby who is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Energetic and playful, Holly still finds time to track down her humans for a quick cuddle. She is sweet but also very shy.

She is very easygoing and would make a great addition to any home.

If you’re interested in adopting Holly, please note that all kittens are kept in foster homes, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
