Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features dogs, cats, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food and, most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Lexi

Lexi is an 8-year-old German shepherd who was rescued from out of state and is now in a foster home awaiting her forever home.

She is housebroken and loves people, but she needs a place with no cats where she is the only dog. Is that your home?

Fill out an application at bcfanimalrefuge.org and arrange a meet and greet with this sweet girl!

Murphy and Lilly

Murphy and Lilly are a cute brother and sister duo who are four months old and up-to-date on their vaccinations.

These black kittens are sweet, lovable, and affectionate. Murphy is outgoing and Lilly is a little shy and laidback. We would like to keep them together.

If you’re interested in adopting Lilly and Murphy, please note that all kittens are kept in foster homes, not on the Blue Chip campus, so call 570-333-5265 ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet.
