From a press release:

Renowned multi-platinum drummer Kevin Miller, formerly of national rock bands Fuel and Tantric, launched a pop rock party band called Smashed last year, which is focused on performing some of the greatest songs of all time live with an all-star lineup of musicians.

The Allentown native will bring his new project to the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe on Saturday, July 14. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets, which are $20, can be purchased on the Opera House website, by calling 570-325-0249, and by visiting SoundCheck Records (23 Broadway, Jim Thorpe) or calling them at 570-325-4009. The facility (14 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe) is open from noon-5 p.m. on show days, and tickets are available for most shows at the door at showtime. Parking is available and free after 5 p.m. at the Carbon County lot behind the train station.

Kevin Miller’s Smashed has recently added Ash Hill (acoustic guitar and keyboards) as a co-lead vocalist, and the band is driven by Miller’s percussive backbone that added fire to Fuel’s live performances of hit songs like “Hemorrhage (In My Hands)” and “Shimmer.” Miller played with the Harrisburg hitmakers from 1998 until 2004 through some of their biggest career milestones.

Every member of Smashed, even Miller himself, sings live, including Greg Reigle (guitar, bass, and drums), Rick Repsher (keyboards), Mark Klotz (lead guitar), and Martin Hill (bass).

The group covers all genres of music in an exhilarating, high-energy show, spotlighting Fuel’s smash hits along with medleys and their fabulous renditions of popular rock and pop anthems by everyone from Aerosmith to Journey to Boston to The Fix.

Celebrate the summer and get Smashed with this good-time band playing songs that will pack the dance floor.
