Superheaven, the Doylestown artists formerly known as Daylight, has just signed with SideOneDummy Records and will record a new full-length album in October with famed producer Will Yip (Title Fight, Tigers Jaw, Circa Survive) at Studio 4 in Conshohocken.

“We are also excited to let you know that our previous LP ‘Jar’ will be re-released through SideOneDummy Records in the UK/Europe, and Run For Cover Records in the US. The re-release will have the new Superheaven name and a new look to it. We will have more info on how to get that soon,” the band wrote on their Facebook page.

The record is expected to be released in the spring of 2015.

Formed in 2007, Superheaven have taken their “their grunge buzzing and desperate sound” across the U.S. and Europe, releasing their debut LP “Jar” through Run For Cover Records in 2013. They’ve also released four EPs to date.

Before heading out on their first European headlining tour with Nai Harvest in September, the band will be performing at the lamp post chapter one (47 N. Franklin St., third floor, Wilkes-Barre) this Saturday, Aug. 9 with Haze, Free at Last, Self Worth, and Westpoint. From there, they’ll hook up with Basement on their U.S. reunion tour, joining Pity Sex throughout August.
