VIDEO: Ice Bucket Challenge fail compilation
It may be hard to imagine anyone screwing up dumping a bucket of ice water over their head, but these people managed.
While they may have failed, the campaign itself has been a big win. The viral videos, in which participants raise awareness and money for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) by dumping a bucket of ice water over his or her head and challenging others to do the same, have spread throughout NEPA and the country, raising $22.9 million in donations to the ALS Association so far, as compared to $1.9 million during the same time period last year, the association reported today. The donations have come from existing donors and 453,210 new donors.
Many of these Ice Bucket Challenge videos are funny enough on their own, but the clips in the above video have an “America’s Funniest Home Videos” vibe that is also worth sharing.
