Wilkes University continues its Summer Reads book giveaway this week by offering a chance to win a copy of Brian Fanelli’s 80-page poetry collection “All That Remains,” published last fall by Unbound Content.

To enter, follow this link and comment on an excerpt from the book. The contest for this book ends this Friday, Aug. 15 at 2:50 p.m. A contest for another book begins next Monday, Aug. 18.

Amazon describes “All That Remains” as “an exploration of life and love, and all the attendant glories and troubles, in the working class. His direct language and concrete imagery allow his characters to live beyond the page. His short poems tell their own stories within the bigger story.”

Also the author of the chapbook “Front Man,” Fanelli is a poet living in Kingston who has been published in The Los Angeles Times, World Literature Today, North Chicago Review, Boston Literary Magazine, Portland Review, Oklahoma Review, and Inkwell, among other publications. He teaches writing and literature at Lackawanna College.

Those who don’t win can always purchase the well-reviewed book here.
