Meet Civil War generals at the Catlin House in Scranton

The Lackawanna Historical Society will be hosting members of the Confederation of Union Generals on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. for a wine and cheese reception at the Catlin House (232 Monroe Ave., Scranton).
The generals will return to Scranton Oct. 4 for a train ride to East Stroudsburg with the Steamtown National Historic Site. That evening, the Society will host a wine and cheese reception with the generals. Both events will offer an exciting opportunity for a firsthand experience with living historians who animate the past for young and old alike, connecting the general public with this defining time in our country’s history.
The fee for the reception is $10, and reservations are required.
