After taking home the Guitarist of the Year Award at the first annual Steamtown Music Awards, Charlie Russello and his instrumental trio, The Russello Project, rocked O’Leary’s Pub in Scranton on Sunday, Oct. 12 as part of the Electric City Music Conference.
Featuring John Carpenetti on drums and Mike Bosi on bass and keys, The Russello Project showed why they also won the popular vote for Jam Band/Jazz Fusion Act of the Year that night. The band’s next gig is in Niagara Falls, New York before they return to the V-Spot in Scranton on Oct. 25 with Sucker and The MESS.
