This collection of retro Christmas music videos by Scranton’s The Push is funnier than an ugly sweater
What better way to prepare for Christmas and a rare live performance from The Push tonight than by watching a collection of their holiday music videos?
Years before the satirical Scranton duo released their debut album of ’70s and ’80s-style throwback singles, “Greatest Hits Volume One,” they created a series of annual Christmas videos, offering their own takes on classic songs that are as cheesy and tongue-in-cheek funny as you can imagine:
Jimmy Reynolds and Tim McDermott will be performing with Ablaze, Jimmy & Vitz, and Pollyanna at Thirst T’s Bar & Grill (120 Lincoln St., Olyphant) tonight, starting a 9 p.m., as part of the bar’s two-year anniversary. There will be a free Fireball Eggnog taste testing from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. and other giveaways that include free ski passes.
