From a press release:

Keystone College students are hoping members of the college community and local residents can help pick the area’s best cupcakes and raise money to help fight cancer at the same time.

Students in Associate Professor Brenda Lidy’s events planning class are conducting the inaugural “Cupcake Challenge” on Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. in Evans Hall in Hibbard Campus Center at the college (1 College Rd., La Plume).

Keystone students who wish to participate can donate $4 in advance and $5 at the door, and members of the general public can donate $10 to sample and vote for the best cupcakes submitted by several local entrants. Proceeds will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the door or in advance by e-mailing sveety@keystone.edu.
