Peculiar Culinary Company, who have been making headlines lately after chef/owner Gene Philbin won “Guy’s Grocery Games” on Food Network and announced that he’d be competing on CNBC’s “Restaurant Startup” in January, held one of their popular pop-up dinners at the River Street Jazz Cafe in Plains on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
The inventive à la carte menu consisted of everything from wild boar sausage to smoked duck breast grilled cheese, and music was provided by garage folk singer Skribe and mountain soul songstress Kaleigh Baker, in conjunction with Camp Rattler.
