Beer Boys in Wilkes-Barre is celebrating their 15-year anniversary on Sunday, Jan. 18 with the largest Southern Tier Brewing Company tap takeover in Pennsylvania, which is huge for fans of the Lakewood, New York brewery and beer aficionados in general.

Starting at 2 p.m., there will be 15 Southern Tier beers – one for each year – on tap, including three firkins that are exclusive to this event. For those unfamiliar, a firkin is a small wooden or metal keg used for cask conditioning, and the spout is driven into the barrel horizontally, allowing the beer to flow out naturally carbonated and fermented. Beer Boys (176 N. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre) features them every year during their Firkin Fall Fest.
