Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features one dog, one cat, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.

Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food, and most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment. Call 570-333-5265 or visit bcfanimalrefuge.org for more information.

Trini

Trini is a gorgeous 2-and-a-half-year-old pit bull. She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, house trained, and crate trained. She is good with all people, big and small! She would love all eyes on her! Trini was rescued from an unsafe environment earlier last year. She has spent the past two to three months living in a boarding kennel before arriving at the shelter. She is extremely sweet, affectionate, caring, loyal, and intelligent. She needs some work on the leash, but we feel she will learn fast! Trini is 95 pounds of pure love!

Pebbles and Bam Bam

Pebbles and Bam Bam are two 3-month-old siblings. Pebbles is a female, and Bam Bam is a male. Both are extremely sweet and love all people! They are full of energy and love playing. Both would do well in a home with other cats and children. They do not have to be adopted out together, but both would love families to spend the new year with!
