VIDEO: Title Fight release haunting new music video for ‘Rose of Sharon’

Kingston’s Title Fight has been gearing up for the Feb. 3 release of “Hyperview,” debuting the first music video from the new album, “Chlorine,” last month, and releasing a second video for “Rose of Sharon” today via Pitchfork:

Directed by Hannah Roman, the gloomy video contrasts aqua-hued performance clips with footage of a lethargic young man played by actor Kieran Sherry.

Roman also directed the video for “Secret Society” from their previous album, “Floral Green,” which can be viewed below:

For “Hyperview,” Title Fight has signed with Anti- Records, a sister label of Epitaph Records. Like “Chlorine,” the sound of “Rose of Sharon” seems to indicate the punk band’s shift towards shoegaze.
