HOW TO PAIR BEER WITH EVERYTHING: Chocolate Love Stout by Yards Brewing Company
Beer: Chocolate Love Stout
Brewer: Yards Brewing Company
Style: English Stout
Description: Chocolate Love Stout pours deep black with a brown head that leaves behind some great lacing on the glass. The aroma is filled with notes of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, caramel, coffee, and hints of vanilla. The taste thankfully follows the nose with a strong hit of chocolate up front, followed by caramel, coffee, and fresh vanilla. This is a beer that truly drinks and tastes like dessert in a glass. The medium-full mouthfeel and moderate carbonation give this beer an incredibly smooth body and impart a feeling of sweet melted chocolate across the tongue.
Yards’ Love Stout is certainly one of the best English stouts currently available, but the addition of chocolate to this beer has made this a truly incredible beer. It’s a must-try, but hurry – this is a limited release that tends to go fast!
