Nashville superstar Eric Church performed in the sold-out Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre on Friday, March 13, casting away any bad luck that local country music fans may have experienced earlier that day and showing everyone a good time.
Georgia’s Drive-By Truckers opened that evening before Church kicked things off with the title track from his latest platinum-selling album, “The Outsiders,” and didn’t let up, his red Solo cup always close by in a holder attached to his mic stand. The concert became quite the party, particularly with the audience singing along to hit songs like “Drink in My Hand.”
Watch a fan-shot clip of the performance below:
“I knew you guys were rowdy,” Church told the crowd as he came closer and shook hands with those in front. “I’ve been here before; I’ve done this.”
