SHELTER SUNDAY: Meet Jada (corgi mix) and Dewey (tabby cat)
Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge teams up with NEPA Scene every week for Shelter Sunday, a post that features one dog, one cat, and occasionally some surprises up for adoption in the hopes of finding them a loving home.
Blue Chip Farm (974 Lockville Rd., Dallas) is a no-kill shelter, a place where no animal is too old or too unwanted to find a warm bed, good food, and most of all, love. Their mission is to provide a sanctuary where older, stray, abandoned, sick, or abused animals can wait to be adopted or simply live out their lives in safety and peace.

Jada is an 11-year-young, very sweet corgi mix. Her previous owners had health issues and were no longer able to care for her.
Jada is happy, loving, intelligent pup who lives to please her owner. She lived with cats and seems to get along with other dogs. Since corgis are known for herding and considering her age, Jada should go to a home with older, well-behaved children.

Dewey is a 5-month-old kitten with the absolute sweetest disposition. He lost his feline mom to a car accident and is looking for a new human mommy!
He is very, very affectionate and loves all people. Dewey would do best with no dogs.
