PHOTOS: Choose your favorite tattoo artist before attending the Electric City Tattoo Convention
It isn’t easy choosing what your first – or next – tattoo will be, and it can be even more difficult to choose an artist to tattoo you. Events like the Electric City Tattoo Convention make this decision a bit easier, allowing attendees to view the work of over 140 artists from many different states before getting inked.
In preparation for the event, held April 17-19 at the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center, the organizers from the Electric City Tattoo Gallery have been Instagramming tons of amazing examples of work by the artists who will be there, seen below. Location: Hilton Scranton & Conference Center (100 Adams Ave., Scranton)
Dates/Times: Friday, April 17, 3 p.m.-11 p.m.; Saturday, April 18, noon- 11 p.m.; Sunday, April 19, noon-8 p.m.
Cost: Single day, $15; weekend, $40; weekend/shirt, $55 (includes exclusive convention t-shirt)
A pre-convention party will be held at the Hilton on Thursday, April 16, and after-parties will be held on Friday at Backyard Ale House (523 Linden Ave., Scranton) and Saturday at The Bog (341 Adams Ave., Scranton) starting at 11 p.m.
