A popular trend in modern music is to delve back into past decades for inspiration, to revive sounds that may be nostalgic for many listeners out there. Sometimes, however, this should be left to the professionals – those who paved the way in the first place.

On Friday, April 24, Northeastern Pennsylvania hard rock band Totally Lost Cause, or TLC for short, will be reuniting on stage for the first time in over 18 years at Bar on Oak (900 Oak St., Pittston). Ken Jones Imagery created a promo video for the show featuring photos and video taken during their first rehearsal in almost two decades.

“This video is comprised of old artwork from their successful dominance of the area’s metal scene in the ’90s, as well as footage I shot of their practices from the very first day of the reunion,” Ken Jones explained.

It’s clear that the chemistry is still there between Michael Devlin Blare, Tony Garuba, Kevin Brislin, and Charlie Russello, so see it live starting at 9 p.m. on April 24. The 21+ concert, with supporting acts Sucker and Ashleys Attik, costs $5 at the door. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
